No need to wait any longer. Learn to keep in touch right after you finished the internship. Sending an email to express your gratitude wouldn’t cost anything. There must be something you want to say after the incredible internship you’ve experienced. Besides email, another option is to send a nice hand-written thank you note. It’s enough to make someone remember you. No need to talk much. Just thank your boss and make sure they know that you’ve learn so much. Also, be sure to say in the note that you’re looking forward to work with them in the future.
