Bright Internships X IBM Petra Christian University: Global Career Essentials
Bright Internships collaborated with the International Business Management (IBM) major Petra Christian University to deliver a comprehensive Career Preparation Training program titled “Global Career Essentials.” The program reflects Bright Internships’ commitment to empowering young talents through its tagline, “Skill Up Now,” by providing students with the essential skills needed to prepare for their future careers.
Led by Miss Florensia, the training was attended by IBM Petra Christian University students from semester 2 and 4. The six week program began on May 5, 2026, with a session on Personal Branding and Online Presence, helping students understand how to build a professional image and maximize their professional profile.
On May 12, 2026, participants learned how to create a standout CV that effectively highlights their strengths and achievements. The following week, on May 19, 2026, students explored Cover Letter Writing and Job Applications, learning practical tips into crafting strong job application documents.
Furthermore, the program continued on May 26, 2026, with a session focused on Interview Preparation, where students were introduced to common interview techniques and strategies to communicate confidently. Next, on June 2, 2026, participants joined an interactive Job Interview Workshop, which included 1-on-1 sessions with each student.
Lastly, the training concluded on June 9, 2026 with Job Application Reviews in which the sessions discussed deeper about the CV, Cover Letter, and LinkedIn. This session allowed students to apply everything they had learned throughout the program and receive personalized feedback from the trainer.
Through this initiative, Bright Internships and IBM Petra Christian University want to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations. By providing students with practical career skills and professional insights, the program supports students’ employability and prepares them to confidently pursue opportunities in both local and international workplace.
