Starter Pack for Your Fall Internship!

Fall internship is just around the corner! If you’re planning to do an internship abroad during the fall season, there are a few things you should prepare before you leave.

1. Fall-Ready Clothing
Fall weather can be cool and unpredictable. Pack clothes like sweaters, jackets, or other layers that you can easily add or remove. Don’t forget to check the temperature in your destination before packing.

2. Important Documents
Make sure your passport, visa, internship documents, and other important documents are ready before your departure. It’s also a good idea to keep digital copies of them, just in case.

3. Budget & Payment
Prepare a budget for your expenses during the internship, especially for your first few days after arriving. Make sure you also have a payment method that can be used in your destination country.

4. Accommodation & Transportation
Find out where you’ll be staying and how to get there from the airport. Before your internship starts, it’s also helpful to check the transportation options you can use to get to your workplace.

5. Daily Essentials
Bring your personal essentials and any medication you regularly use. For other items, you can adjust what you pack based on your needs and how long you’ll be staying.

6. Internet & Communication
Look into local SIM card and internet options before you arrive. You can also prepare an international roaming package for your first few days, just in case you need internet access when you first arrive.
